Fantastic opportunity for a Software Engineer to join an ecommerce scale-up in Manchester.

The company have the backing of a FTSE 250 business, they launched to the public late last year with a UK wide TV advertising campaign and are now in the process of scaling to 14 squads with almost 300 people in total across product engineering.

They’re currently looking for Software Engineers that have a passion/interest in DevOps, particularly things like observability and IaC.

In this role you’d be the DevOps advocate within a squad and would have a huge opportunity to influence the principles and practices used by the team, inspiring and enabling them to do their best work.

The existing group are very open minded, they work as integrated, multi-disciplinary agile teams who value diversity and teamwork over individual heroics so you’d be working alongside product, data and delivery professionals, as well as other software engineers that are passionate about using quality practices like TDD, Pair Programming and DevOps.

The money is good too - up to £65,000 plus company benefits including 10% bonus, pension, certifications and regular remote/flexible working.
